Favourite cosmetics for March 2012

I thought that I'd do a cosmetics blog today and just gush over a few of my favorite products. Well to start I re-Organised my cosmetics on my desk last week. It's funny how quickly things can get disorganized and take over your space. I bought some plastic containers from the plastic store and think they make a big difference. I know where to find every product I want and it just looks better.

The first product I have recently found is Bioderma Sensibio H2O makeup remover for sensitive skin. I have seen various youtube vloggers talking about this product and decided I would try it when I had to get some makeup remover. An I have to say that I can definatley see what all the hype was about. It is a great product! It feels like you are using water. There is no burning or stinging which you sometimes get with makeup removers. It is scent free and leaves skin soft and clean. I do have sensitive dry skin and often struggle to find a makeup remover that doesn't leave my skin dry.

Another Bioderma product I found is the Sensibio Mask, soothing mask for sensitive intolerant skin, intensely moisturizing and soothing. I am completely in love with this mask. I use it once a week and could see a difference in my skin texture immediatley. My skin was softer and felt hydrated. It did not feel stretched or dry. You apply the mask after cleansing and leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse it off with luke warm water. Easy and great!

A hair product I recently purchaced is the Sebastian Thickefy Foam, weightless-thickener. This product is great for giving flat straight hair body and texture. Just apply foam onto damp or dry hair. I prefer applying it to damp hair and then using my fingers to infuse body to my hair while blowdrying my hair. It provides great body and keeps it throughout the day. It is a bit expensive (around R315.00 or $25.00) but worth the money.

Lastley I bought 3 new nail polishes from Essence. It is from the new Blossom limited series. Every month or two Essence has limited series with specific themes. the last series I bought items from was the Fairy Tale series. The new  Blossom series includes nailpolish, lipgloss, shimmer powder and a fragrance. I purchased  3 of the 4 nailpolish and the 2 lipglosses. I have only used the nailpolish so far so will give a review on the lipgloss later. The nailpolish is bright and cheerfull. The perfect companion to to the changing weather. I know winter colours are rich emerald colour but sometimes I think bright colours are needed to cheer me up. The three colours I bought are Forget-Me-Not, My Yellow Fellow and I Like. You need to apply 2 layers to get a nice solid colour but it stays on for about 5 days and doesn't chip easily. Today I applied the Forget-Me-Not. LOVE IT!
